A very nice 19th C. New England Indian basket with a hand decorated stockade design. The basket has minor breaks to the splint, including the rim wrap, and it measures 7" long, 6" wide and 3 1/2" high. It has a collection inventory number on the bottom.

A very nice 19th C. Northeast Indian basket, probably from eastern NY State. The wide weaver has a stamped and dabbed blue sunburst design and the ribs have a blue sawtooth pattern. There are blue and salmon stripes down the length of the ribs below the wide weaver. It measures 5 1/2" high and 8 3/4" diameter.

19th C. covered splint basket, decorated on all sides with swabbed weavers and hand-painted domes. It measures 11" wide, 13 1/2" long and 8 1/4" high and has some minor breaks. It's from southeastern New England, possibly Mohegan.
